The Hawthorne Caballeros will be hosting a Percussion Clinic on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Hawthorne Boys and Girls Club in Hawthorne, NJ. The clinic will be led by the Hawthorne Caballeros Percussion Head Marc Garside and will run from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. There is a fee of $20 which can be paid when you arrive.
Venue Update! The Location has changed to the Hawthorne Boys and Girls Club: 150 Maitland Avenue Hawthorne, NJ 07506.
About Marc Garside:
Marc Garside is the 2012 Hawthorne Caballeros Percussion Caption Head. Marc’s marching experience includes performance membership with the Caballeros and Capital Regiment Percussion sections. Marc had been teaching competitive marching percussion actively at the high school level for the past 10 years. He served as the caption head and arranger for Shikellamy High School and currently is the caption-head and arranger at Williamsport High School in PA. Marc has also served as arranger and consultant for multiple high schools in the central PA region, including: Shamokin, Line Mountain, and Montoursville High Schools.
Marc has also performed in the Susquehanna University Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble and Choir.
